Ingredients:
Wheat flour
Bajri (pearl millet) flour
Ragi (finger millet) flour
Methi (Fenugreek) leaves
Palak (Spinach)
Cheel leaves
Tandaljo (Amaranth) leaves
Suva (Dill) leaves
Luni leaves
Green chana (grams)
Green peas
Lilva (Green pegion peas)
Valor (Broad beans)
Salt – as per taste
Turmeric powder
Green chilly – ginger paste
Method:
Mix all the flours together. Finely chop all the leafy vegetables and add them to the flours. Now crush the green peas, lilva and valor. Add these to the flour mix too. Add salt, turmeric and ginger- green chilly paste. Adding a little water make a dough like paratha dough. Divide the dough in equal parts and roll out each part. On a tawa fry the parathas using oil. The Shakotsav Dhebras are ready to eat. They taste even better when accompanied with green chillies pickles and curds.
