 Ingredients:

Hand sorted husked wheat

Cow milk

Jaggery/Sugar

Pista (Pistachio)

Kesar (Saffron)

Elaichi (Cardamom)

Method:

Soak the wheat for 24 hours. Take a clay pot and use a traditional coal-based stove for this recipe for the ‘slow-cooking’ process. Take 4 to 5 times more water than the quantity of wheat. Then boil the wheat in the clay pot on coal stove for 4 to 5 hours. When the wheat is boiled and cooked well, add milk, saffron, jaggery/sugar, pista and elaichi powder.
